Overview
An ancient Cedar of Lebanon Tree, thought to be hundreds (possibly 800) years old. This tree unfortunately was cut down on the 27th August 2023 after a local authority deemed it unsafe. Originally located between 2 church buildings in the Cemetery in Rye, East Sussex. This 3D LIDAR scan, taken with a Leica RTC360, is a reminder of the importance of cataloging in 3D. This scan is was all but lost. But the tree will now life on, albeit in digital form.
